Paul Blom (Terminatryx): We stumbled upon In Misery by accident on Facebook when discovering that Spectral Realm's drummer has this side project. Really liked what we heard and asked him to take on a song!

Calvyn (In Misery): What I can mention regarding doing a remix for a band and the way I get around doing it -
I normally listen to the given track 2 or 3 times just to get a bit of a perspective on it, just to get a sense of the flow and overall intended.
After that I disregard everything that has been sent my way eccept for the vocal bits.
The reasoning behind that is that I am trying to build a new song from scratch with my own blend of sound design and choices of synths. I feel that keeping original bits sometimes distract me from making steady progress and that it poses as a slight limitation on the experimentation.

With PuriFire it so happend that a slight old school type of sound formed while trying it out.
In my mind... Wumpscut meets Eurythmics for this paticular occasion. Not intended I'll admit, but I do have a liking for this accidental concoction.
